What to expect in a class with Connie

In Connie’s class you will connect to all the layers of the body (body, breath, mind, intuition and light), moving as one unit, and allowing the body to move in space and time in a state of moving meditation. You will link breath and movement, connect to your whole being and massage your body from the inside out.

About Connie

Connie completed her 200-hour teacher training at Kripalu in Stockbridge, MA in June of 2012 and has since gone back to complete 75 more hours toward her 500-hour certification. Before that she studied at Northeastern University getting her BA in Information Systems, and worked in Boston for more than 30 years in computer technology. She currently lives in Quechee, VT with her husband, Steve and their dog, Bennie. She enjoys yoga, golf, hiking, music, gardening and spending time with friends.

We asked Connie

Why do you practice yoga?

I took my first yoga class over 20 years ago and just fell in love with the after glow and the calming effect it had on me. At the time, I had a very stressful job, on-call 24/7, working nights and weekends, and I need a way to reduce the stress on my body and mind. Yoga was all that and more for me, and after some time, I was not doing yoga any longer, YOGA was doing me!

What fuels you? 

Spending a sunny day out of doors with my little buddy, Bennie, playing golf,  good friends, laughter and love.
