Yoga is...Rooting down to rise up.

What do you love most about yoga? I love that yoga gives me a chance to quiet my mind, focus on my intention, and be wholly in the here and now.

What fuels you? Long trail runs, red wine, and good books.

My NON-guilty pleasure is... Cooking (and eating) a delicious meal. Also, endless reruns of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'

What makes you Mighty? My wonderful family and friends.

What’s your yoga story?  How did you start practicing? I've practiced yoga off and on for years, but I never really got into it until this past December when a close friend encouraged me to come with her to a class at Mighty. I'd never practiced yoga that followed a flow before, and I fell fast and hard for the rhythm of movement and breath. I love the concentration that the asanas require, and the blissful space that exists between exhale and inhale. As my practice has become more regular, I have experienced a reduction in anxiety, increased energy, and more restful sleep. I'm now working to incorporate a daily practice into my routine.

What's the best advice you've ever received? The Perfect is the enemy of the Good
