Tong has been practicing Yoga since her college days, on and off for almost seven years. She enjoys doing yoga in the studio, in her bedroom, on the beach, in the mountains, with her friends, with her dog… Tong’s first Yoga teaching experience happened when she worked at a summer camp – teaching vinyasa yoga and partner yoga to a bunch of teenage campers in the deep woods. Tong recently completed Rasamaya Yoga Barre training and finally got a chance to realize her dream of spreading the joy of yoga to more people. This also gives her a reason to wear Yoga pants more often – since they’re the most comfortable clothing on Earth!

Why do you practice yoga?
Yoga gives me inner peace…after a busy day of work or whatever the rocket science that I’m working on, I trust my mat and yoga playlist to give me a deep relaxation. Yoga also brought me to a lot of cool Yogis and they inspire and energize me tremendously.
What fuels you?
Meats, Sweets and Treats. My lovely monster dog, Brownie. My good friends and my awesome, supportive and loving boyfriend!
